Psychological Associate, PSB94027961

Dr. Naomi Jackson, Psy.D. is a registered psychological associate. She believes that good therapy can not only provide relief from psychological stress, but also help people uncover their best authentic selves so that they are better equipped and empowered to help themselves in the future. She often utilizes systemic principles to help clients understand the ways in which their relationships with others are contributing to their struggles, but she also draws upon multiple other therapeutic approaches depending on the unique needs of each client. Some of her other preferred therapeutic methods include: cognitive-behavioral therapy, humanistic and client-centered therapy, and holistic therapy.

She is also mother of three, a licensed foster parent with ample experience navigating the child welfare system, and has volunteered for a nonprofit organization that provides resources and support to struggling parents for the past six years. She is well versed in parenting challenges and striving to maintain work-life balance, and she is well equipped to help people who are struggling with these issues. She also teaches mind-body/yoga classes and regularly practices mindfulness and meditation, and she can incorporate these principles into therapy when appropriate.
